  1. I saw the title and thought 'If the Selection series isn't in it, then I'm out.' Love the Selection, but sooooo trashy!

  2. I’m not sure if u have read it already but I would definitely recommend the ‘snow like ashes’ series x

  3. Ahh yes, the selection series. I read a book a day and I can’t even explain to you how frustrated I was with America but I still pulled for her and Maxon. Soooo good. It also is kind of sentimental for me because it marked a growth in my reading taste. It sparked an interest in me for more dystopian novels and such. The selection series will definitely always be on the top of my list.

  4. For me, Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell was also a really good Trashy YA novel. Don't get me wrong, it was well written and there was a well developed background but WOW they were all stupid

  5. I really needed the reminder to be true to my likes and dislikes through this video. When I was in eighth grade and had first gotten into reading, I read almost all of the Vampire Kisses books and bought them eventually. They're honestly…not good, they're trashier than trash, and as cliche, stereotypical as it gets. But I loooved re-reading them all the time. I was considering throwing them away recently…but you know what, this summer, I'll re-read them. It's like traveling in time to meet my eighth grader self.

  6. Just wanted to drop by and say how much I loved this. Your choice of 'trashy YA' is basically the same as mine – and I'm so thrilled to hear you talk about them!! subscribed, and cant wait for more!

  7. This seems like a good enough place to ask; I've been very curious lately. What are some of you guys' (or Emma, I would love to know yours!) typical reading speeds? I read about 240-260 pages an hour, meaning I can finish a good length book in usually about two hours, and I have a very good friend who absolutely adores reading who read 60-80 pages per hour. I'm very curious as to some other readers' typical speeds- please let me know!

  8. Omg pls read Fuambled hearts by Meagan Brandy and Play with me by Anna Katmore i think you will love them❤️

  9. I love the selection but I agree with you, it’s a trilogy, I haven’t finished The Crown and it’s been a year but I’m trash for that series
